The final outdoor look at The Oaks
The Oaks final outdoor reveal

The grass has fully grown, the concreate driveway and sidewalk have been poured and set for a couple weeks now, that means it is time for a final look at the exterior at the oaks!!
September 3rd will be 3 years since we started the oaks project. Realizing that it has been 3 year is wild. It has been a wild ride! We loved the journey but are very happy to be at this point in the game.

I'm soooooo in love with this Solar Light Post. The detail it adds and the fact that it is solar is the best part! We put some concrete in the ground about an 18" hole to m ake sure it stays nice and sturdy!

I think it is so fun to be greeted by the solar water fountain in the birdbath! 2 feautures that make is so welcoming and homey!
Sadly the birdbath is no longer available but I purchased it off of Amazon so they might have a similar one...

I fell in love with rain chains when we went to Florida this past winter. They have them on so many houses and I couldn't get over how much charm It added! I ordered these right away while I was still on vacation, I had envisioned them to go right here. I love them!

It was so fun to watch them lay the pavers for the sidewalk! You can see in this photo that they lay the pattern of the pavers. Then they go along side of the edge and cut them. That line is cut.
Tate has been working for Nagel Landscaping last summer and this summer so he was working this job!!
If you are local check them out. They are out of Darwin/Litchfield area!

River Rock is from a local nursery. I believe it is 1 inch river rock. Big rocks are collected from local farmers rock piles and ones that we have had at our house.

For all the patio links, they can be found HERE! As well as other photos and details!!

We have this grill on the side of the desk for rentals to use. We love grilling, so if was a must to have here for guests!

Sitting down here by the fire pit and looking up at the oaks is one of my favorite views! It is so pretty from the back with the tree and the landscaping on the hill. The next couple of photos are of the stairs and pathway to get down to the lake as we have had a few questions on the path to the lake situation!

This was one of the very first areas we took care of at the oaks! I'll link the blog post HERE for you to look at and read about the process on how we went about the landscaping!

There are steps and a pathway all the way down to the lake!

One of the things we LOVE about this quiet lake is that there is no other houses on the other side of the lake. The sunsets on this side and it is the most beautiful view ever!!

A little tree swing for the front yard!

We would love to have you come visit and stay at the oaks!!
