THE WATERS
Welcome to - The Waters
"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters."
Isaiah 55:1
Don't worry, we are as shocked as you are about this. Per the Lord's usual routine with our properties, we weren't seeking this out or even have this on our radar. He literally placed it right in our laps. And as with everything, we pray to walk obediently and have Him guide our steps and days. So when a lady from church messaged me asking if we wanted to buy their cabin that is on the twin lake to ours just a mile away from our cabins, we really prayed about it. I actually didn't even tell Ryan for a couple days because I had my heart set on building some tiny homes and investing in our empty lot. But, he said, lets at least go look at it.
Well, it turns out that this little property was adorable, with a great lot that walks right out to "the waters." It's a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property with a full walkout basement. Such a perfect little cabin for a family. Plus the bones were so solid and the vision so big. The cabin sits east facing so it gets the most beautiful sunrises and the whole back wall is a wall of windows with the best views.
So after looking at it and praying about it, we felt the Lord telling us to use the skills He gifted us with, DIY and design ,to bring more beauty to this little cabin and share it all with you. Ironically closing day was scheduled for the exact day we leave for our 2 week road trip, so sweet of the Lord to give us rest before the work begins!
