The Waters Entryway
The Waters Entryway

First off, if you haven't you need to go to my Instagram and watch my latest reel on this space to see just how far it's come! Pictures don't do it justice, the REEL really explains it! You can find it HERE.

The entryway started out very dark and cut off. There was a lot of storage but not a lot of room to move. First we ripped out the storage, put in a new pantry closet, added a bench nook, and painted everything in the color Sandy Clay by BEHR paints.

We also added the shiplap paneling on the ceilings to cover up the old tiles we assumed were full of asbestos. We hid the seams of the paneling with 2x4's and it gave it such a bright cottage vibe!

We changed out all the lighting and added all new hardware. It was fun to bring in some gold elements for a little pop of metal.

And I had so much fun with all the pattern play. This wallpaper, which is from North and Finch in Hawthorne Plaid is the real showstopper.

I was so excited to find this accordion hook rack because I love including elements that look old but don't have the time to visit antique stores or flea markets. Not only did I find this brand new hook rack that looks old, but Hearth and Hand just came out with this bench that also had an antique vibe to it!

I've also been soooo impressed with Hobby Lobby's art these days. These two prints came from there. Wait until they are 40% off and you can get them for a song!

I had a lot of interest in these bifold doors. We ordered them off of Wayfair and they add so much character. I ended up painting them to match the trim and added 2 knobs instead of one to make them look even. I am in love with the frosted glass so we can hide food, appliances and more in there without anyone see in. *ALL ITEMS SOURCED AT THE BEGINNING OF BLOG POST.

Wall Color is called Sandy Clay and it is painted throughout the house. I am so happy with how the color turned out!! It is exactly what I had envisioned!

Sharing all the pretty detail shots to show you the products I used up close.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my projects. We are having so much fun with this space and will be sharing a ton more afters in the weeks to come!
