I cannot believe we are to the point of starting to create and personalize each room at The Oaks!

This is/was my inspiration for the Oak Power room. You will see as we continue to finish the Oak the vibe I'm going for is very much so moody and earthy!

I am in love with how this main floor powder room came to life! My vision for moody was my goal the entire time and boy do I love!!
The color is called "Wooden Arces" and it is a very Chameleon color. It looks chocolate brown at times and dark green at others, but I love it! I decided to color drench this room too so I painted the ceiling too. It is such a vibe!

I told Ryan "I think this bathroom could fit right in over at the Magnolia Silos in Waco, TX!" It is giving me Magnolia feels and I am loving it. One of the many fun things about having rental properties is getting to play around with different design styles and try things that are a little bit more out of the box that I love. Including the look of this powder room!
We decided to do one huge picture molding on each wall for a little grand detail and it dresses it up just perfectly! Picture molding can be time consuming but it's a great affordable way to elevate a room!
The small hex tiles are oh so adorable but don't be fooled, they are tricky to make sure you have even spacing. If you get off even just a little bit you throw the entire pattern off. Take it from me who had a little hiccup with these little guys, but no one will know right;)
