This room is the last and final room at the lakeside to be completed before being ready to go!!
I can't believe we are on this side of the project. Alot of TLC has gone into this little cottage on the lake, it had my heart from day one and that still remains! I literally have poured my blood, sweat and tears into every single area of this little cabin.

The first plan of action was to change the layout, it was a no no for me to be staring into a black hole while doing the dishes. I wanted to be able to enjoy the stunning view while being in the kitchen!! So moving the sink to the peninsula was a must. It completely changes the feel of this space.
The showstopper and what I worked this entire kitchen around are these Coldspring Countertops! I went with the bold, Calcatta Verona, which is a marble look alike but it's actually quartz, perfect for a rental with it being much more durable with no upkeep. Coldspring is an amazing company to work alongside, with also an amazing, gorgeous product selection!
I shared our entire process of touring where they make the countertops, touring the showroom as well as touring the actual sights where the granite comes from on my Instagram and saved it into a highlight, so you don't miss it!
I knew I was going to go BOLD with these countertops. I had many different inspiration photos and when I saw this in the showroom, I knew it was the ones I had been dreaming about!
C&D granite did the fabricating, and they made the edge 2" thick for me and I think that makes all the difference. I wanted it to look very chunky and bold!
I'm beyond happy with the results!

How stinken adorable are these scalloped glasses?! I snagged they this week, they are under $20 and real glass!
I had never done this Bead Paneling before. It is now one of my favorites and I want to put it in my own house!! It's the right amount of texture and movement without being too busy.
It comes in sheets and is very user friendly for installing!
