#5

Real Babydoll. Ruby is my baby lover and my sister in WI had one of these, Ruby instantly fell in love! She had some $ she had been saving. Well she real quick found what she wanted to spend that $ on. It arrived a few days ago and boy is she one happy girl. Click HERE to look.

#4

Walking Treadmill. We have this exact walking pad in the office. Anna uses it on the daily and really likes it. Such an awesome way to keep your legs moving if you work from a computer most of your day. Click HERE to look.

#3

Fall Floral. This week in MN sure didn't feel like fall and I'm not sure if I actually am quite ready for it but I did order a couple fall items to have when I start to decorate. These stems from Walmart were a score for look and price point. Click HERE to look.

#2

Adirondack Chair. I am so excited about these chairs. I got them for our fire pit area at the new build. They are great material that will be durable for changing weather conditions. They have many different colors as well. Click HERE to look.

#1

"Like A River" Book. I read this book in 2 days time. It felt very similar to our story so I was hooked. A very good read. Click HERE to look.

The Oaks final outdoor reveal
By Allie Lundeen August 14, 2025
I pulled off the biggest surprise I've ever done... I can't believe it!! So a little back story - 17 years ago Ryan sold his prized possession, his 1991 Mazda Miata, to help fund a much needed mini van for our baby on the way. After I got pregnant I quit my job and we went from 2 incomes down to 1 income. We knew that a 2 person convertible just wasn't practical and that the finances could be used in a better way. So we sold it... Fast forward 17 years and it all comes back full circle. I put my 17 year old son Tate on the task of finding us a Miata that looked just like dads, and he blew it out of the water. He found the perfect car on Facebook Marketplace In great condition! He drove almost 3 hours to pick it up with a buddy and pulled off the best surprise ever!!! Also to note Tate has never driven through the Twin Cities or Driven a stick shift on any road besides a gravel one close to the cabin. BUT he was confident and crushed the challenge!! We stored it for the night and gave it to him the next day! I think Ryan's reaction says it all (watch the mini vlog below!) Our "19th" anniversary isn't until November but what fun is a convertible if you can't drive it in the summer, so we gave it to him early and are so happy we did! *make sure to read until the end for a good laugh ;)
