Better Homes & Garden Ventura Wicker Egg Chair. This week I shared about our new fun outdoor space down at the Man Cave that we are so excited about! If you missed it check it out on my Instagram. We had a pretty cool video made that you do not want to miss too you can watch on my instagram!

This Egg chair found its home on the deck where the hot tub sits as well. It is such a cozy spot to sit and still be apart of the hot tub conversation without being In the tub. Click HERE to look.

#4

Vickerman's 4' Artificial Potted Tree. These still are a fan favorite and I'm so glad they are because they are a favorite in my book as well!

I share all about this tree in my No Maintenance Faux Greens Blog. Here is the link to that if you missed it and want to read more detail on this specific green and where I homed her at my house! Click HERE to look.

#3

Modern Stitched Square Throw Pillow. I snagged 4 of these square pillows early on in the process of the new Man Cave look. Did you miss the blog post all about it? Don't worry  I got the link right here for you to see the new outdoor space we spent most of out time at more here at home. They match perfectly with the rugs in that space to which just happens to be a bonus. I had in mind that I did want more of a masculine look to them as they would be in Ryans space and I think these couldn't be more of the right fit..  Click HERE to look.

#2

14 X 28" Artificial Pothos Plant In Pot. Isn't this plant just a cutie?! I got 2 of these for the Man Cave end tables in between the chair sets. we all one my love anything faux greens. No maintenance and always look lush and pretty up yes that is a no brainer for me! This plant is one of my favorites tho because of the overhang of the leaves. It gives more of a full effect for being a smaller plant.. Click HERE to look.

#1

HomeRight Super Finish Paint Sprayer. The amount of painting that I do is a little crazy, this paint sprayer has saved me so many different times! It goes a 100 times faster when you are painting something bigger such as a deck, exterior spaces or interior walls... I used it this last week to finish the bottom space of the man cave deck area. I was dreading that part but honestly once I started going with the sprayer if went by quickly. Click HERE to look.

The Oaks final outdoor reveal
By Allie Lundeen August 14, 2025
I pulled off the biggest surprise I've ever done... I can't believe it!! So a little back story - 17 years ago Ryan sold his prized possession, his 1991 Mazda Miata, to help fund a much needed mini van for our baby on the way. After I got pregnant I quit my job and we went from 2 incomes down to 1 income. We knew that a 2 person convertible just wasn't practical and that the finances could be used in a better way. So we sold it... Fast forward 17 years and it all comes back full circle. I put my 17 year old son Tate on the task of finding us a Miata that looked just like dads, and he blew it out of the water. He found the perfect car on Facebook Marketplace In great condition! He drove almost 3 hours to pick it up with a buddy and pulled off the best surprise ever!!! Also to note Tate has never driven through the Twin Cities or Driven a stick shift on any road besides a gravel one close to the cabin. BUT he was confident and crushed the challenge!! We stored it for the night and gave it to him the next day! I think Ryan's reaction says it all (watch the mini vlog below!) Our "19th" anniversary isn't until November but what fun is a convertible if you can't drive it in the summer, so we gave it to him early and are so happy we did! *make sure to read until the end for a good laugh ;)
