Dear Tate,

Happy birthday sweet boy! I want you to know that ever since you came into this world you have been the apple of my eye. Mommy and Daddy always prayed over you that you would be a little boy full of joy and we have seen the Lord faithfully answer that prayer! You make us smile everyday with your sweet ways and that natural belly laugh that you have. You are always looking for ways to make people laugh, especially your Grandpa and your sister! You have made our life so much brighter and full, we can’t imagine it without you! Mommy and Daddy have already been praying for that big heart of yours, that it would desire to follow the ways the Lord has for you, that you would choose to love Jesus as much as we do! We pray for your protection against everything in this world and we have already been praying for that amazing wife of yours that is someday going to steal your heart from me:) You are a true gift and we are so happy that we can celebrate with you the special day that you came to us! I can’t believe 3 years went by in a blink of an eye. You make your mommy and daddy so proud! Love you my little Tater Bug!!

So even though Tate’s birthday isn’t until Wednesday, we had the big celebration this weekend.  He wanted a super hero party, so that’s what it was.  Mom had to turn cake decorator to come up with this…
