Women’s High-Rise Distressed Jean Shorts Universal Threads. Ladies out there isn’t it just a struggle to find a good pair of shorts!?! Especially when trying to find the right length and fit. Well I found these at Target recently and I seriously love them. Great length and the wash on them is a great medium jean wash. Click HERE to look.

Rory Padded Slide Sandel – A New Day. My new favorite Sandal right here. They are actually so comfortable! True to size and they stay on so well. I 100% recommend these summer sandals to anyone. Click HERE to look.

#6

Ruffle Short Sleeve Linen Top – A New Day. We had our occasional sale this past weekend and I wore this pretty linen top for one of the days. First off I love ruffles so the ruffle sleeves are a given. And the linen look and feel is a different material than I normally have for a top but I am loving it! Click HERE to look.

#5

Appliance Epoxy Spray Paint. When I was redoing the vintage camper this is the appliance spray I used to give the appliances a fresher look. So slick and easy! Click HERE to look.

#4

Wooden Elevated Feeder. I stopped at Marshalls the other day after picking out our Garage door. I came across some really cute animal feeding bowls (those are hard to come by, cute looking ones) so I snagged one for at the cabin! This is one I liked. Click HERE to look.

#3

Mixed Media Eyelet Flutter Sleeve Tank . I recently had a shirt on from Banana Republic and it sadly was sold out when I was able to grab the link for you guys. This was a very similar one that I had found on the same sight. Click HERE to look.

#2

Aglaia Potted Plant – Threshold. Surprise, Surprise another plant on the weekly favorites list! But I think we are all okay with it because we all love a good plant faux or real. This one has a different shape to it vs straight up which gives it her own look and a statement when you look at her. Click HERE to look.

10in. Wooden Bowl With Base. This is another item I came across on the Marshall shelves. How pretty! these wooden bowls are perfect to set on top of the kitchen counter to put all your fruit in or also to use as a salad bowl etc. So many options for a item like this. Click HERE to look.

The Oaks final outdoor reveal
By Allie Lundeen August 14, 2025
I pulled off the biggest surprise I've ever done... I can't believe it!! So a little back story - 17 years ago Ryan sold his prized possession, his 1991 Mazda Miata, to help fund a much needed mini van for our baby on the way. After I got pregnant I quit my job and we went from 2 incomes down to 1 income. We knew that a 2 person convertible just wasn't practical and that the finances could be used in a better way. So we sold it... Fast forward 17 years and it all comes back full circle. I put my 17 year old son Tate on the task of finding us a Miata that looked just like dads, and he blew it out of the water. He found the perfect car on Facebook Marketplace In great condition! He drove almost 3 hours to pick it up with a buddy and pulled off the best surprise ever!!! Also to note Tate has never driven through the Twin Cities or Driven a stick shift on any road besides a gravel one close to the cabin. BUT he was confident and crushed the challenge!! We stored it for the night and gave it to him the next day! I think Ryan's reaction says it all (watch the mini vlog below!) Our "19th" anniversary isn't until November but what fun is a convertible if you can't drive it in the summer, so we gave it to him early and are so happy we did! *make sure to read until the end for a good laugh ;)
