Welcoming Soft Textures And Rich Colors With Walmart Decor

This a sponsored post but all opinions are my own. You all know my love for all things Walmart, and not just for groceries and everyday essentials, but lately for home décor and seasonal items! I love the fact that I can order online and pick up at a convenient location and time, I love that it’s always free shipping over $35, and I love that returns are so easy if something doesn’t work out! This month I was so excited to partner with Walmart to create a cozy Christmas home!

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday ever to decorate for! It’s the one time of year that color enters my home and cozies it up! So you know I had to shop pillows to create a cozy look

I could not believe that these cozy cable knit pillows that come in three colors were under $17! And they even have feather inserts! I chose this dark emerald green pillow, but the red and cream were beautiful too! And I am still so in love with this white lumbar pillow that goes with any décor and any season!

I also snagged this cute wood side table because I loved the detail on it!

The vertical wood slats had me at hello. And I paired it with the cutest little tree from Walmart as well. The little tree in the burlap bag  is a perfect setting piece that adds a fun pop of red as well, and for under $7 it’s such a score!

One of my biggest splurges was this chunky knit blanket.

I have been eyeing these forever and they aren’t cheap! When I saw Walmart had one for a great price, I had to check it out. And it’s even better in person!

Do you see how chunky it is?!? I’m in love! I also wanted to point out those pretty deep red velvet pillows!

Another steal of a deal for a feather insert pillow and under $11!! Ps, I have to show you the exposed gold zipper…. you know how much I love those!

These pillows are more of a wine red, but make a very classy Christmas. They also come in a dark emerald green with the gold exposed zipper that is beautiful as well!

It’s always hard to get a good picture in front of a window, but if you are looking for a festive wreath that’s green and red, this one is one of the prettiest ones I’ve seen.

And you know I can’t leave without adding my favorite Charlie Brown Christmas tree! We used to always get a real tree that looked so much like this one from Ryan’s land his family has up north. Then one year all of the needles fell off before Christmas and I had to go to the tree lot and buy a tree the week before Christmas, undecorate my tree and redecorate it. I found this tree the next year and ordered it right away. I am in love with how realistic it is! It fools everyone!

I can’t wait to decorate the rest of the house now!  Check out the pictures below to find the links for everything!

The Oaks final outdoor reveal

I pulled off the biggest surprise I've ever done... I can't believe it!! So a little back story - 17 years ago Ryan sold his prized possession, his 1991 Mazda Miata, to help fund a much needed mini van for our baby on the way. After I got pregnant I quit my job and we went from 2 incomes down to 1 income. We knew that a 2 person convertible just wasn't practical and that the finances could be used in a better way. So we sold it... Fast forward 17 years and it all comes back full circle. I put my 17 year old son Tate on the task of finding us a Miata that looked just like dads, and he blew it out of the water. He found the perfect car on Facebook Marketplace In great condition! He drove almost 3 hours to pick it up with a buddy and pulled off the best surprise ever!!! Also to note Tate has never driven through the Twin Cities or Driven a stick shift on any road besides a gravel one close to the cabin. BUT he was confident and crushed the challenge!! We stored it for the night and gave it to him the next day! I think Ryan's reaction says it all (watch the mini vlog below!) Our "19th" anniversary isn't until November but what fun is a convertible if you can't drive it in the summer, so we gave it to him early and are so happy we did! *make sure to read until the end for a good laugh ;)
