30 Day Prayer Challenge - Kid's Version Now Available

I'm so excited to share this resource with you all after much anticipation from our last couple prayer challenges, we've done together as a community on Instagram!  I've added many of the testimonials below, but it's amazing to see how God works when we get on our knees, humble ourselves, and cry out to God.  Prayer is not the last thing we can do, it's the most IMPORTANT thing we can do, and in faith we know it is fighting spiritual battles on our behalf that we don't realize are happening.  I wanted to put this challenge to print so that anyone can do it at anytime and be intentional to stay on track!

AVAILABLE HERE

In the book you will find 30 prayer prompts, scripture to back up each one, and a prayer I wrote specifically for that day.  And what I think is the best part, is the empty page for you to write your own prayer.  I know God loves to hear our voices, and I have so many people say they don't know how to pray.  Prayer doesn't need to be any fancy words or correct sayings, its just all about your heart and the position it is in.  Have a conversation with God.  Lay down your burdens, admit your faults, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you!  I also love that you can go back and read your prayers and hopefully see what the Lord has done to answer those prayers, days, weeks, even years later!

I used a spiral bound book for this resource so it was easy to write in, but also so that each day you could flip it open to the verse and mediate on it all day.  They are pretty enough to set it out somewhere where you will see it and it will remind you to be persistent in prayer!

Testimonies

1."Hi Allie, I wanted to let you know I really appreciate this 30-day prayer challenge for our kids. Mine are 2 & 4 and we are in the thick of tantrums. It's been a roller-coaster! I felt myself change through this challenge and daily felt the Holy Spirit bring to mind the prior prayers of patient, joy, child's faith, peace. Just yesterday my son stopped in an emotional moment and said” Mommy, should we pray?" It was such a great moment!! I will probably start this challenge over starting tomorrow!!"

2.  “I've seen, felt and heard a difference in not only my kids but also and maybe more in my heart attitude, but defiantly in theirs too. Thank you so much for leading us in this prayer challenge!”

3. “I've been thinking about how this prayer challenge has changed me more I think because I've been thinking about the things, I've been praying for my children which in turn is nudging me to be better in the areas that I want to help facilitate in my children. Like being patient with them and having more conversations with them about who they will marry, making those conversations we have more regular. There has been changes in myself as a parent, so thank you!”

4. “I have noticed such a difference in my child over the last couple of weeks and first thought to myself” wow, he's really growing up and maturing" but then later remembered the prayer challenge! How quickly and easily the enemy tries to make us forget where the credit goes. God is working in our home and I'm seeing it right before my very eyes. Thank you, Lord, for this prayer challenge!!! What a blessing to my family!"

I pulled off the biggest surprise I've ever done... I can't believe it!! So a little back story - 17 years ago Ryan sold his prized possession, his 1991 Mazda Miata, to help fund a much needed mini van for our baby on the way. After I got pregnant I quit my job and we went from 2 incomes down to 1 income. We knew that a 2 person convertible just wasn't practical and that the finances could be used in a better way. So we sold it... Fast forward 17 years and it all comes back full circle. I put my 17 year old son Tate on the task of finding us a Miata that looked just like dads, and he blew it out of the water. He found the perfect car on Facebook Marketplace In great condition! He drove almost 3 hours to pick it up with a buddy and pulled off the best surprise ever!!! Also to note Tate has never driven through the Twin Cities or Driven a stick shift on any road besides a gravel one close to the cabin. BUT he was confident and crushed the challenge!! We stored it for the night and gave it to him the next day! I think Ryan's reaction says it all (watch the mini vlog below!) Our "19th" anniversary isn't until November but what fun is a convertible if you can't drive it in the summer, so we gave it to him early and are so happy we did! *make sure to read until the end for a good laugh ;)
